Should we use Ginn more, and work him into the O more?

LOL, I was o the Ted Ginn wagon until I saw him play! Dude is a punt returner and that is all!

I saw enough of what he brings to the table when he was a dolphin and he was making my best friend feel suicidal on sundays. Sloppy route running and he has to be one of the worst receivers in the history of sports when it comes to making a play on the ball. It's like watching D-jax on crack.

only guy that can get Ginn the ball deep down the field with accuracy is sitting on the practice squad, playing safety.
They can try but the facts are Ginn isn't that good. Mia is getting better production form Hartline and Bess for a reason. Ginn has that track speed but his game time speed isn't as fast as it should be. Plus every time he comes in teams expect him to go deep b/c he's not normally in the game. but this isn't a smartly coached team that would at least exploit that part of the game by sending him deep and taking a safety with him. Somebody should be open underneath. Ginn could be used more but we really shouldn't expect much besides solid returns

agree.

he's a great returner, and a 20x upgrade from battle. but as a receiver, he can only be used as bait. he can't run routes and stops and doesn't try whenever he hears footsteps. not a good WR.

They are not using him properly. He needs to be used in reverses, end arounds, slants, slot, but not as a possession receiver like the one on the sidelines where he couldn't catch the ball.

His plays should consist of catch on the run.

We need more Ziegler on third downs. Get him ACROSS the first down marker and let him go get it.

Stop with throwing the check down 5 or any yards from the first down marker! I remember Madden being so irate at 3rd down play calls where the receiver didn't go over the first down marker. Instead, he would turn his route beforehand.

WTH is up with that!!!

Go beyond the first and catch. Is that too much to as...uh, wait. NVM.

Sorry the guy sucked for the Dolphins, and why exactly would he turn it around here, with Jerry Sullivan as his position coach? J Sullivan is awful, all our wide outs seem to do is get worse while they are here.

Morgan good looking rookie find, then Awful
Crabtree amazing, no camp no practice and he rocks it, one off season with J Sullivan...

We have not developed a single receiver since J Sullivan got here, how is Ted Ginn going to improve over what he was in Miami?

Kick returner yes, wide out NO, give his touches to Crabtree, Morgan, or Ziggy.

No need to apologize for your position, man. I see it. I don't agree.

I have witnessed his ability to cause some damage on the field in the offense. You just have to utilize him correctly.

Again, possession receiver he's not, not even close.

Ted Ginn did lots of damage in college because he was the fastest dude on the field, in the NFL that just don't cut it, Ted Ginn (like Alex Smith) just hasn't made the jump to light speed! Guys who can't make the jump are lucky as hell to be special teamers and back-ups, so lucky Ted he GETS to return kicks!
