Absolutely.

"Willis could have made the hit much lighter." is a fantastic sentence. I hope it catches on.
Rage...god you're retarded. Cheap shot? lol...

holy crap. I was reading that seahawks forum about patrick willis (http://www.seahawks.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17984&sid=953b4993088b645ba02ec241f3dd64d4&start=20) and saw this video about Hasselbeck learning to slide as a qb. was a few years back but this is funny.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfGZsPLDkY8&feature=player_embedded

bet he wishes he would have remember this when we played them early last year.

LOL @ them debating who will lay the hit on Willis as payback. if any of their players wants a date with IR, they can try laying a hit on the human brick wall Patrick Willis.

i love how these pansies are calling our fans classless for cheering patrick willis hit on hasselbeck. they make it out like people at the stick are bloodthirsty but they would do the same thing if it was smith getting killed instead of hass. or if that game where rocky bernard's punk ass killed smith and set us back a couple years... i gaurantee they would be ecstatic to see our QB go down like that. f**k em. willis and co will hit him and hit him often so hasselbeck better get his pampers ready.

Actually, we don't. Next time you see an injury on the field at Qwest, pay particular attention to the crowd.

so u speak for the whole crowd? only our fans do this? ok, just checking

I speak for what you can see with your own eyes, and when Hasselbeck was hit by that borderline cheap shot from Willis, (borderline cheap shot because Hasselbeck was already on the ground when he was hit; don't argue it, just find it on YouTube and watch it) a LOT of your crowd was cheering and jeering while Hasselbeck was staggering off the field, clearly visibly in pain. As I said, next time you see a real injury on our field at Qwest, you take a look at the crowd right afterwards.

that was no borderline cheap shot. That was a clean hit

THIS SHOULD HAVE ENDED THIS DISCUSSION.

//END//
Us fans might be confident, and their stadium can get really loud, but we have won there before.

I don't think the team is taking the game as lightly as some of us fans are. If you watch the videos of some of the interviews this week, players bring up that the loss over there hurt our chance at playoffs. So I think they know not to come out flat because we have something to prove.
Yeah, and that Fat f**k Bernard could have laid Alex Smith nicely on the ground instead of landing flat on top of him and dislocating his shoulder a few years back. Bernard is dirty for putting a hit on the QB. Why would a defensive player want to knock the opposing QB out of the game?

my kinda party

Take off your rainbow-colored glasses. Hasselbeck was completely down before the moment of impact; Willis could have made the hit much lighter, but no, he torpedo'd Matt. I'll give you that it was close, Matt wasn't down for long before Willis hit him, but he was still all the way down already. I won't feel sorry if something happens to Willis this Sunday. I'm not hoping for it, but if something does, guilt or remorse will not be emotions that cross my mental spectrum.

and if you think that is what it looks like when willis "torpedo's" someone ur very wrong. that was a very mild hit and he couldve gone right through his back if he wanted to spear him. he cut him off, it didnt even look like a serious hit to me and it still doesnt. if hasselbeck wasnt already playing hurt he wouldnt have even been fazed by that hit. and willis was already in the air when hasselb***h tried to dive so unless willis has some kind of anti gravity device he's not gonna be able to stop himself from hitting hassel's back

"Willis could have made the hit much lighter."

My thoughts as well. Fury, your post is a joke.

Why am I not surprised that on this forum - San Francisco's - I see threads with rainbow unicorns (in another thread on here) and pictures of huge ball sacks. Just sayin'.

Hard hits are all part of the game when a dude's still in play, but when his whole body is down and you try to spear a guy like that, the only intent is to cause injury; and that's not cool. What, still bitter because Alex Smith was too stupid to go down and tried to carry Rocky Bernard on his back in the game that he caught his shoulder injury on? If you don't recall what I'm referring to, watch a highlight of it, Smith took like three steps with Bernard ON his back before going down. He tried to be a hero, and instead, caused a serious blow to his career.

Sorta like how Matt tried to be a hero and go head first instead of sliding like QB's are supposed to do? When an All-Pro tackling machine has you in his sights, slide like you're supposed to, otherwise, deal with the consequences.

Thank you!! I wish Hawksfan was here. He is a legit seahawk fan. This guy obviously doesn't understand the concept of a football tackle.
