This is a statement game. Make the f*cking Seahawks cry. Brutalize them and make their pain resonate. Make their front office scream to the NFL corporate offices to change the rules because of the damage that was done to them.
Make the talking-head suits with ESPN squawk like old women because the 9er's fierceness was "over the top" and "mean spirited."
Hurt them and make them dread the thought that they have to face these badass muthas again.
Make them know the definition of terror.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll referred to likely Week 1 starting LT Tyler Polumbus as "Troy" four times in Wednesday's press conference.
Just the situation into perspective. Polumbus graded out as one of the NFL's poorest tackles regardless of side last season. The 49ers' defense is a highly recommended Week 1 fantasy start. Matt Hasselbeck isn't.

No need to read anything past the first post, with this garbage
I'm thinking that if we run a traditional offensive set (2 backs) We'll be able to run the ball all day long on them. I just wish we had a better blocking fullback. 3-4 teams its easier to get a back into that second level and with a good block from the fullback gives a tailback a chance to go one on one with the safty. Forsett could have a big day running!

Since I'm so freaking bored and have nothing else to do, here is what I see going down this week against the Hawks.
Niners 31, Hawks 21
Smith 2 TDs, 1 Int, 245yds
Gore 1 TD, 130yds
VD 5 rec, 65yds 1 TD
Ginn 2 rec, 105 yds 1 TD; 1 KR for TD
Crabtree 4 rec 40 yds
Willis 14 tackles
Smith 6 tackles, 1.5 sacks
Laboy 3 tackles, 1.5 sacks
Clements 6 tackles, 1 INT
Summary: Niners surprise everyone by starting the game with 6 straight passing plays. Niners score 24 of the 31 points in the first half and use the running game to play keep away in the 2nd half. Hasselbeck's injury issues continue when he's sacked by Laboy in the 4th quarter. Hasselbeck left the game with back spasms and possible broken ribs.
Of course the Niners will NEVER START ANY GAME WITH 6 STRAIGHT PASSES with Raye running the show, but a guy can dream.
first play is gonna be a run you can take that to the bank
I bet its a pass, an intermediate one at that.
