Very interesting scene off to side of practice field with Singletary moderating animated "discussion" between Vernon Davis and Crabtree. less than 20 seconds ago via Twitter for BlackBerry®

# Matt Barrows mattbarrows

Niners line up for team session w/o Crabtree and V Davis who are still huddling with Singletary on another field ... 1 minute ago via ÜberTwitter

Harsh word between V Davis and Crabtree. Singletary has to pull them aside ...

If I had to guess, Vernon is questioning Crabtree about not practicing. Probably just taking that leadership approach...

Exactly. Vernon probably tells Crabtree to stop whining and that Michael should practice.. Crabs tells him to butt out and Vernon calls him a P**** .

don't know if it has been mentioned, but how about Crabtree for Vincent Jackson? ......

No need to. Crabtree will shape up.

Yeah I agree....Matter of fact, Smith is really becoming a big POS because my credit score has dropped in the last 6 months, not to mention my mortgage has been on slow pay and my fu$%ing wife is screwing her personal trainer, not to mention the suffering children in Africa. Still haven't found a cure for cancer and that son of a b***h even took a pay cut to stay on the team.....Fuqing Alex Smith...
Here's the problem with Crabtree...

MC: Drops?
Me: You don't think you've had any drops?
MC: What are you talking about?
Me: Balls you could have caught.
MC: No. If they were on the sideline or something, or too high or something. I never, ever ... Have you ever seen me deal with drops in my college career?
Me: No. That's why I'm wondering whether there's something going on now.
MC: Nah. There's nothing going on. Everything's looked good to me.
Me: What happened with the play in the end zone in the fourth quarter (of the Seattle game)? It seems like you were surprised that the ball was there.
MC: It was designed to be a back-of-the-end-zone catch. I came out of my break and the ball was already thrown. So, miscommunication.
Me: Were you ducking because of the ball or because there was a defensive back?
MC: I didn't know what was going on. As soon as I turned around, the ball was behind me and dude was about to hit me. So I was like, 'Man, I can't go out like that.'"

In a game that would have put us in the playoffs, this guy doesn't have any accountability,, or even seem to care whether we won or lost.

I can see why players have a problem with him. Now they see him standing on the sidelines all preseason...again...???

Yeah, Vernon was only saying what everyone else was thinking. I hope Crabtree grows up at some point.

If anyone can fix his attitude, it's Sing.

I'll say lit again, Crabtree got away with missing training camp last year and had a productive year, so he figured do it again this year, without realizing he was alienating himself from his teammates for possibly exaggerating the extent of his neck injury. Vernon probably just said what everybody else was thinking. I'm sure it'll snap Crabtree out of it.

This happened because VD thinks he could say anything he want to anyone cause he's a captain now

I can see see VD's point, but he has an aggressive attitude and that's what makes him a good football player. As a team Captain he can't approach everyone the same way and expect them to respond the way he intends.
