I've just been backing whichever QB looked better at the time. I'm backing Smith 100% with the hopes of a wonderful QB controversy assuming Nate Davis keeps improving his knowledge of the game.

ive mentioned several times i think Davis looks good, and i hope he contiues to get better, Smith is the man right now, and the rest depends on him. It would be nice to have another horse in the stable,like the old days, so this is a good problem, as many have said

What I would want to see from Alex is whether or not he single handedly wins games for us. Good quarterbacks don't win every game by themselves, but they win a couple, and a handful of extra wins a season separate "solid" teams from playoff teams.
Great quarterbacks are what separate playoff teams, from Super Bowl teams.
