2 a days always suck but they suck for everybody. Can't like 2 concussions already though...

These are training camp concussions though... probably the trainor asks "did you get light headed or see stars?" and if they say yes then they are automatically rested since it's still just training camp.
In a game situation I'm guessing most of these "concussions" would be cured with smellin saltz and the players would be tossed back in the game unless they actually lost consciousness from the hit.

Mos def. 2 or 3 years ago, these probably wouldn't even be reported. These are the times I guess.

Exactly, I'm sure the NFL has sent countless memo's to teams in recent years telling them not to take risks in non-game situations. In game situations the teams and players probably know not to divulge how serious they are injured cause they wanna stay on the field. Also, especially with the lineman at LG and RT, I wouldn't be surprised if the team takes "extra precautions" to make sure that Baas and Chilo (since that moved Snyder over to RG) are "ready" to get back on the field... giving the rooks a little more reps.
My guess is that when Baas comes back he is competing with Wragge for first interior lineman backup, and when Chilo gets back, they will split reps between Snyder and Davis evenly... it's just hard for me to see the team starting Davis in Seattle, so sadly Snyder is probably a safer bet until the second game, where as with Iupati he will be closer to Center to hear the cadence in Seattle and his position has less responsibility so let him play right away.

Lets be real. Carted off wearing an air cast for what they call "a sprain". He's most likely out for the season or well into the season.

Yeah, I have to agree with you. Air cast usually means compound fracture
. Get well soon McKillop, because your roster spot is vanishing quickly.Paging Wilhelm, Paging Bowman...

I don't want him out an extended time, but this means we can keep philip adams, zeigler or someone else with his roster spot if he hits the IR. Let bowman be TKO's backup, then have bowman and mckillop go at it again next year in training camp.

I'm on the same page with you on Davis and Snyder. Starting rookie tackles will always make me uncomfortable, so I'll take the devil that I know in this case. Let's not write off Boone though; I like that dude
If he can crack the starting line-up, Snyder's value really goes through the roof as a serviceable back-up more than a starter. I want to see Iupati start early, but I also wanna see em completely earn it so there's absolutely no question who should start. I get the feeling that he's kicked the sh*t out of 99% of the guys he's faced up until this point and I'm curious as to how he'll respond to a scenario where he gets knocked down and has to fight his way back.....although it sounds like he's getting plenty of that treatment from Justin Smith, so we'll see what he takes away from his whoopins and how fast he learns.
This is the first time in years where I'm not worried about our line coaches ability to install and execute a scheme. On top of that, there's some genuine competition up front imo. New blocking scheme or not; I think our line will be hella nasty early in the year and pretty technically sound come playoffs. Just hope we can stop messing with it sometime soon and let them become a unit.
