lmao carolina making the playoffs

Not that far-fetched, b/c last season they were missing their starting LT and RT for most of the season. They will already have a vastly improved OL for Moore to manage from, not to mention healthy Deangelo Williams and Johnathan Stewart to take the majority of the snaps and run everywhere.

Only thing stopping them from achieving 11-5 would be their defense, which lacks a true pass rusher and safety coverage (their LB and CB cores are pretty damn good). Wouldn't be out of the question.

Overall, GB vs SD isn't out of the realm of possibility, especially with their defenses and high-powered offenses. So on paper, they look like the best. On the other hand, I don't agree with how they have the AFC South panning out b/c I don't see the Colts not making the playoffs. Also, HOW THE F*$& DO THEY HAVE THE BALLS TO SAY BUFFALO WILL GO 7-9? 7 WINS?!?!?!?! THEY"LL BE LUCKY TO GET 2 WINS WITH THEIR TEAM...MORE CHANCE BEN AFFLECK WINNING AN OSCAR FOR ACTING!!! FAT F***ING CHANCE!

They play the NFC West (we should win) and AFC North in addition to playing the saints and falcons twice a year. Moore gets a full season a qb where teams get to study and attack them..steve smith wont be 100% either

They will lose more than 5 games

Oh I definitely agree with losing more games, but they'll be 3-2 most likely going into their bye and will have a favorable schedule after week 9 since they'll be done facing the Saints (excluding the Ravens game week 11).

I think Atlanta is overrated, especially with Turner. One good year from a RB, the classic Falcon story (see Jamal Anderson, 1998), and they fall apart due to too many carries. Also, they'll win games, but don't see their defense scaring anybody this year. Also, Tampa is Tampa...I say they go 10-6 (losing to Saints (twice), Pitt, Baltimore, Cincinatti, and us )
But just how super is this computer? Unless they've created the super duper computer, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this computer is wrong.

My not so super computer coupled with my 9er hard on will take 10-6 on our way to the big show
So,,,,,, what did this computer predict for last year? How about the year before?
8-8 and a WC loss? Yuck...
the so called super cpu fails....
Everyone should cool their jets. This is not the 49er's year. We have picked up talent this year, but they will be green. They need a year under their belt. To be a dominent team, it needs to be a well-oiled machine. That will take one more year. This year there will be too many hiccups and glitches. I know it is hard to be patient, but these things take time. The NFL has a number of franchises that have built their strength over many years. To join that elite club will take another year.

These 10,000 computer simulations are unrealistic they don't take into account injuries.

They also don't take into account rookie contributions, improved play of second year players; or the likelihood of vets putting up career best stats when playing in a contract year.

It also doesn't take into consideration match ups. For example, how does the simulation have the Niners losing to Carolina in the playoffs, and I assume regular season, when Carolina was ranked #23 against the run last year and has lost 3 starters on it's defensive line? I know the team had the #3 running game last year with 2 1,000 yard backs, but the Niners ranked #5 against the run and match up well against their strengths.

Looking at the schedule, if the only thing that improved about the Niners from last year is the o-line play, then I expect 11-5 or 10-6 (always have to account for at least one heartbreak loss). The losses I expect are against NO, Philly, Green Bay, 1 to AZ, & San Diego. The heartbreaker would be against ATL.

We're just saying playoffs right now. We're not saying that we'll become an elite club.

No playoffs will be a disappointment.

The team was green and suffered hiccups last year. That's why it came up short against the likes of the Vikings, Eagles and the Colts.

The core of the team has been together for a few years now, so I don't now where the perception of being green comes from. If it's because of the O-line, well Mike Solari has experience at starting multiple rookies and having the line playing well.

And as the immediate production of Michael Crabtree last year has shown, talent will produce regardless of experience.

If you look at the schedule, you'll see that it's filled with bottom feeder teams, the kind that the Niners easily beat last year in the likes of the Chiefs, Raiders, Tampa, Carolina, Denver & NFC West).

It's all good though, you may not be filled with confidence, but the team is.
this isn't even post worthy. carolina? with jimmy clausen? i think he'll be a solid pro, but he's no matt ryan or joe flacco.
