Eric Heitmann (stinger) also appears to be getting the practice off. No update yet on Scott McKillop's left knee.

Finally understand: the 49ers are practicing in misty, 50-degree weather to prepare for the opener in Seattle.

It does seem as if Brooks is getting a lot of good practice in this year and seems like he is displaying more moves on his pass rush. I hope he is developing into a consistent pass rusher.
Any news on Briggs?
Sounds as if Adams is getting some good reps as well. Could we end up with Spencer, Clements, Brown, Adams, Paymah?
How are Jones, Hill, and Zeigler doing?

Brooks is definitely going to beat out either Lawson or Haralson.
Guy is making leaps of progress.
Good to hear Phillip Adams doing well, our secondary is the key to our success on D because we're sound in other areas.

I bet it'll be Spencer, Clements, Brown, Paymah and James, with Adams on PS. They'll want vets out there but I would love to see Adams prove me wrong.

If I were to guess, Brooks would replace Harralson, but then again, if the Niners front office thinks they can't sign Lawson next year they might start phasing him out. Either way,
for Brooks.

I doubt Brooks will take Lawson or Haralsons starting spot (this year)
though he will probably get almost as much playing time as a nickle pass rusher
and coming in when the starters get dinged or need a breather
Ive been a Briggs fan, but I think Laboy may get the most action as the 4th OLB

We still don't know what we have in Laboy with his injury and "veteran courtesy".

Makes a lot of sense since it's almost 90 and not a cloud in the sky today.
