That report was absolutely TRASH.

Mortenson talked more about Brett Farve than he did about the 49ers. I am utterly disgusted in ESPN.

He only said, well Alex Smith is starting, he has Crabtree and Davis and some other weapons to throw to...they used 2 1st round pics to help the OLine. Their D is led by Patrick Willis, who is the best LB in the game. And Mike Singletary likes the blue collar aproach to his team.

THAT IS IT. I could have done 30 times better than this trash that ESPN is throwing out at us.

Are they going to show any one on one sit down interviews with a 49er player(s)/coach(es)? Even if its a 40 second clip....he says they will but I haven't seen them yet.

It seems to me that the niners better start giving some prime prospects some season ending IR hickies or something. I think they can expect teams to ravage thru the discards pretty thoroughly. The niners have many guys who could be of use to teams like one of the fullbacks, Michael Robinson if he gets cut, the spare TEs, guys like De lapuente or another of the linemen and linebackers like Briggs, Kristick, and the vet we got from SD. I think San Diego lost their rookie inside backer so he could be in demand. I think we have some decent young prospects worth keeping in Maragos and Stoudamire and Adams. Even Jarrett Brown is starting to click and he really looks like he could be something with some experience. Brown really impressed at the combine so he is not going to disappear without some wise exec or scout noticing. If Vann is cut I am sure he will draw a few looks and we have some pretty good recievers. I know greed is a sin but f**k em says I. I would like to keep them all. Maybe on the last days of camp Singletary can have nutcrackers til all the guys we want are bunged up for the year.
