He gets a lot of crap, but without Paraag our team would be way worse than it is. If he can work his magic on extensions for Davis and Goldson this year it'll cement him as one of the best front office people in the NFL.

Seriously, the Razor on KNBR can just go f**k himself now.

The guy (Marathe) is a pure numbers guru, even when we were spending money bringing in Nate Clements and Justin Smith the structured deals he handed them (for guaranteed money and incentives; year-to-year) financially benefited themselves within the overall contract figures (towards the cap).

Marathe has risen us out of a cap nightmare, and with the exception of Crabs, EVERY rookie has shown up to camp on time under Paraag's tenor (and he stood his ground like a man amidst the entire Crabtree situation). He's also used the best judgment in using franchise tags/extending the right players.

The entire Niners FO is in flux, reading off of the blueprint of the Minnesota Vikings.

They all probably couldn't sleep, with their agents hashing out the deals all night. It's kind've like that Christmas feeling; I doubt I'd be able to sleep either if I knew I was gonna be a millionaire the next morning!
