Anthony Davis Jersey- Keep or return

YES I KNOW... he's an offensive lineman. Here's how it went down.

My birthday was on Wednesday and my mom ordered me an Anthony Davis jersey. Her reasoning is that he grew up and went to college (Rutgers) in Piscataway. I lived in Piscataway until the age of 10 and my family was born and raised there. She also thought it was coincidental that his number (76) was the year she graduated from Piscataway High School, and thought it to be good luck for the Niners this year.

Firstly, I never get jerseys of rookies and the reasons are obvious. Secondly, I NEVER have had the desire to get an offensive linemen's jersey. Still, I'm torn between keeping it as a good luck charm and thing of novelty, or returning it and getting something else.

Assitance appreciated.

Agreed KRS. Plus I really wanted the Niners to get him and the fact that he's from my hometown and now playing on the team i live and die by across the country... too many reasons.

It's a gift from your mom, dude... You got to keep that and sport it proudly.

Yeah, I don't really know why I had my doubts in the first place. Decided to keep it. No reason not to. I wanted the Niners to draft him. It could be good luck too.

In all seriousness, it's a gift you gotta keep it. And with it being an OL jersey it gives the impression your a true fan of the sport going with a jersey of one of the unsung heroes. But since I'm an ungrateful b*****d I would just say it was the wrong size and when you went to exchange it they had no more AD's left in your size and get a Willis one

On topic, what a momma! What a careful and genuine gift from her heart to give you a part of your history while combining it with your passion for Ninerball. Momma's like that are too few and far between.
