don't forget about our special teams. We have a good kicking game, but the punt/kickoff return game was lousy last year.

Since always. They've always been overrated imho. Say what you want about their 12 pre Super Bowl Championships, but imho you have 10 teams you face year in and year out and are awarded Championships at the end of a season w/o a playoff or championship post season then yay you won the season. If there were 2 teams tied at the end of the season there was no tie breaker either.

That's not taking anything from the players and teams that played in the league at that time that's just pointing out how flawed the system was at that time. It was the BCS before there was a BCS.

I'm glad that they helped get the NFL where it is today but I can't give them much more respect than that.

I think the pole is about right. Vikings, Cowgirls and Packers befor us... I would LOVE to see the Niners play the Gurlz in their house and kick the poop out of them in the chanpionship game... Not that I wouldn't like us to have home field advantage, but I live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area now and catch so much crap from some of their fans... Oh, how I would love that... LOL
