This standard broadcast I'm watching is boring me. I'm sure the networks think I wanna see paint chips flying and mouth guards helicoptering, but what I really want to see is what's happening on the goddamn field. I'm not learning anything new by watching the lines kick the piss out of each other; I've seen it...over 100 times a game
I'm ready to see the things on the periphery like the battles going on between the corners and wide outs, or the decisions the safeties are making. I wanna see it coming when Smitty doesn't look off the safety so I can yell "LOOK OFF THE SAFETY AL, YOU RETARD"...and then I'd look at my buddies and I'd be all
I think we all could agree that the best angle to watch is the 1 the teams use to review tape on. If CBS or whoever wants to zoom the hell out of the camera after the ball is out of the QB's hand then go ahead; I think that would be cool. Most important thing is letting us see everything prior to the play being made. That alone will up the average football fans IQ (and entertainment value imo) ten fold...at least.
I know NBC has an online feed that offers different angles and while I've never watched a game on their site I'm positive that stream isn't free and it's probably just that stupid cable cam. I despise cable cam; it's still too damn close. Besides, I don't wanna watch games on a computer.
Anyhoo, I could jabber merit all day so I'll shut myself up. Please email all the networks if you support. They have a hard time reading and listening with their heads up their asses but maybe sheer volume of emails will get their attention.
Cheers big ears
I'll put up a disclaimer next time I post. How about..."You may want the last 5 min. of your life back after reading. NO REFUNDS"
