This was definitely a season changer. It show's how close the Niners were last year to making the playoff's. Niners have to win games like these games next year.......
Easy TD if Bly would have made the catch = 9ers win Game over!
...and also the dropped int near the end of the Vikings game.
*sigh*

We wouldn't be in that situation in the first if Singletary didn't b***h out on the team. Joe Staley handled Jared Allen that day. Singletary didn't have the killer instinct that game and that's why we lost.
are u on glue? first play of the game staley was beaten by allen who forced a fumble and got a sack on shaun hill
He didn't do anything after that. I still have the game, do you wish to see? Staley and Sims handled Jared Allen that game.
no thanks, have the game aswell

Well I finally had a chance to watch the program off the DVR. My major take away from the replay is how close our passing game is to being legit. The main issues in the game were timing and of course pass protection.
We all know about the pass protection problems. In regards to timing, there were several 3rd down out patterns to VD and Crabtree where the receiver was a step out of bounds, a yard short of the first down, or were just out of sync.
The 3rd down problems seemed to be a timing issue. It makes sense because the offense again had to learn a new offense. However, this offseason is the first in 5 years where the offense can work on improving timing rather than learning a new playbook.
I fully expect great things out of the offense next season. We have the talent and system in place. There is no excuse not to perform.
