Thanks for the memories Shaun, you proved all the doubters wrong and I'm sure you'll do it again somewhere...

Don't want to be a Niner QB? Win games. Problem solved.
This franchise is a joke. Not even an ounce better than Detroit or Cleveland or Oakland...etc etc

Shaun should just ask for his release.....f'shopping around.
the best place for him to play is either at Seattle (they have new weapons and Hasselback is fragile)
or Arizona....(he can beat out Leinart) and they still have weapons.
if I were him, I would NOT go to places like Detroit or Cleveland...
I'm sure one of the top teams would be willing to trade for him (5/6th rd pick), to be a backup in case their franchise QB goes down.
but again, if I were Shaun, I'd rather not look for a trade and choose to play for teams where there is a higher chance of me starting.

If Alex Smith only had your heart

lol, (this is all im going to say bout this) smith went out to play with a broken shoulder trying to do something to help all the while dealing with the pain. And people say shaun hill losing his helmet was gutsy.
Amen, ignorance abounds on this subject on the zone.
Agree, Wholeheartedly! .... Shaun Hill has a tremendous amount of heart, and should only be praised. But, Alex Smith, also has the same trait. Taking nothing away from Hill, I would say that from what i have seen from Smith as a person/teammate over the past couple years, has proven him to be a pretty damn solid guy.
