Jed's college lover isn't going anywhere.

Well, paraag was "tried out" in the booth on whether to throw the red flag or not. But that simply failed when harbaw looked to him on half a dozen different occasions and the flag was thrown incorrectly for all but one instance. Harbs had enough, and got him out of there. IF he really and truly DOES have influence in picking a HC or in drafting, then we are screwed and it is obvious why. The only thing "race" has anything to do with this is, if he did't grow up like other American kids , eating, playing, sleeping football, how in the world could paraag have any idea whatsoever to know WTF he was doing. Our problems at the top would be a lot easier to understand if paraag really is invovlved in making personnel choices. If true, until that ceases we are truly bat screwed.

I just have a hard time beliieving that the York's would make a mistake that grandiose. They would have to be dumber than a bunch of rocks to have a "foreigner" helping pick HCs, and players. Just let him do the books. But for heaven's sakes, keep him away from the draft. Leave that to football guys...of which paraag is NOT one.

But if true, for God's sake, get him out of the "football ops" business and lock him in a room with his calculator. Please tell me this was reported mistakenly.
He had that job under Sing as well. I think it overwhelmed Jimmy Raye (being an OC overwhelmed Jimmy Raye).

I bet Jed and his boyfriends are all members of NAMBLA. He fires any of them, they talk. no one is going anywhere.
Didn't he get Bill Walsh fired when he came back here as a consultant?
What kind of a stupid ass name is Paraag anyways

This is the architect of the Niners failure, I don't know how he does not get more of the blame. He wrote "the book" failed and got confused how his plan did not work.

LOL, I was just saying this in another thread and have probably mentioned it a dozen times in the past two days. I feel like I am channeling Ralph Barbieri.
Dude gets overlooked as just a numbers cruncher/contract guru but his titles put him atop the football operations org chart. He has coached in the booth, he has written Field Management Guides that the head coaches are told to carry and follow, I am pretty sure he played GM prior to Scot getting the official title and he has been the head man atop football ops for years. His two titles make it completely clear what he does, Executive Vice President of Football Operations and Chief Strategy Officer.
Any change should start with removing him from the top of football ops.
I've been trying to put the spotlight on this parasite, but all the fans have the tunnel vision on Trent Baalke.

Exposing Paraag Marathe.....the man you really want fired.

49er fans, I know most of you want to see York sell the team and think he's ill equipped to run the franchise- and you may be right - and I know you want to see Baalke fired b/c he is the GM who acquired no one this last off-season that has helped move the needle, and hired Tomsula, whom you also want gone. But if you go back a few years and look at who within the organization has gained the most power and pulled the most strings it's none of the above.

The man you REALLY want gone from the organization is Paraag Marathe. He is the man who has risen the most from within and while I credit his work on the salary cap and contracts he has superseded both Baalke and York for most influential. Whatever he says is gold to York, and Baalke is just doing what his owner wants which is really what Marathe wants.

Marathe has grown so powerful he now practically has seat in the coaches box and helps call plays - yeah, bet you didn't know that - he is using his analytics to dictate what the coaching staff calls. Hence, why Tomsula keeps punting and the organization has yet to speak out about it and why Tomsula keeps saying he would "do it again."

Safe to say Harbaugh's biggest issue within the organization was Marathe's meddling with coaches and calls which led to York deciding, not between Baalke and Harbaugh, but Marathe and Harbaugh - that's why there were so many conflicting reports about the Baalke/Harbaugh relationship towards the end of the season. I believe Marathe/York were pissed with the calls made by Harbaugh that cost us the SB and last Conf Championship game and used that to convince York that his analysis could do the the job of Harbaugh and that they just needed a coach who would comply - enter Tomsula - and follow his analysis. Tomsula has made several mentions to this throughout the year.

So the next time someone wants to fly banner over the field it should read "Fire Marathe A.K.A. Wormtongue" b/c he is basically that guy from LoTR who has full control of the King (York).

Misguided anger. The team sucks, they made a tremendous mistake in choosing the personnel over the coach, deeming him replaceable when he really wasn't. Fans need a scapegoat.

He is the "they" here or at least 1/2 or 1/3 of it so that decision is on him as is the state of the roster, the decision to hire Tomsula, basically all of the crap that has occurred since the Harbaugh debacle.

What reason is there to keep him in charge of football operations?
Drain the swamp, starting with this swarmy b*****d.
He will be our next GM and coach.
There is just no way on earth that a foreigner, (even if he was born here), has any business managing a NFL pro football team. Trying to draft players, make trades in FA, based on his fricking computer and its programs is just flat out stupid. He obviously has no feel for football, but puts a lot of faith in that dumb machine in his lap. This is one move that is easy. He is fine for cap issues, but he should NEVER have been given any power or even input as far as players go, FA or Draft, nor should he have anything to do with calling plays. Lock him in a room with his computer and hack out those cap figures. But let him ONLY do that. NOTHING ELSE. Leave that to football guys who grew up with the game from age 5 on. I suspect paraag grew up with European Football,(soccer), and not American Football. Use the computer where indicated...cap figures. But forget having a "furener" making decisions based on what his computer spits out. That is stupid. Just plain stupid.

Now if Bellichek or say Coach Walsh at the end of his career, want to use a computer for football stuff....fine. But please, a guy who didn't wasn't playing football from age 5 on, and I mean American football, not soccer....lock him and his in a closet and have him give you cap numbers. Keep him away from the game, the stadium, the draft, and FAs.. Heck do something like that , and you end up, well....like the Schidt team we currently are fielding. Get rid of paraag. Don't even let him on the football ppty. He can work far away from 49er central. And then keep him there. No more input from paraag. Please.

Sweet Jeebus, dude! The man's ethnicity has zero to do with his ability to be an NFL executive
I suspect Paraag grew up a few miles from where I grew up (Saratoga and Cupertino) an watched American football and did most of the same things I and people I knew did.
I am not sure what European soccer has to do with it.

Trent Baalke is a White American football guy and he sucks too.

Yeah, the last thing the zone needs is an injection of racism.

In case anyone is wondering Paraag is a lifelong 49ers fan from CA.

A native of Saratoga, CA, Marathe's passion for the 49ers was instilled at a very young age. As an avid Bay Area sports fan, he has rarely missed any 49ers games since he was six years old.
