BALEEEEEEEEEEEEED DAT
Wow Ray Brown. Now that was an excellent FA signing for our offensive line. The other one I remember was the dude we signed that played for the Giants in the late 90's. His name slips me though. He only played one season for us I believe.

Bart Oates. Big difference here. Ray Brown is coaching, not playing.
Best news I have heard in a while. Welcome back RB!

I think he is thinking of Ron Stone. Stone played here about 3 years I believe.

Oates? I thought he was back a bit further. I was thinking he might be meaning Ron Stone, or maybe Gragg?

At any rate, I like this hire. Ray Brown was with the Bills in this same capacity. He was a very good guard when he played for the 49ers. Can't get enough help for the o-line.

You are probably right. Oates was on the 94' Superbowl team I believe??

Yeah, you're right. For some reason I thought he was on the team a little longer than that. '94 Superbowl... I'll have to watch that later.

thats what im always be talkin bout...ray brown all day
Again, another example that Singletary knows what it takes. Shotty, Solari, and now Brown?

That is what I am talkin' 'bout!!! He is picking the pieces to build the foundation of future Super Bowls to come.

This off season is one of the most exciting in some time at least since 2005 when Nolan was brought in to save the franchise. At that time, mostly everyone was elated to start fresh. Didn't last long due to his ego and stubbornness.

Now, Singletary can continue that foundation with more detail and fervor. It just seems as though Singletary is learning from the "Once bitten Twice Shy" motto.

Don't make the same mistakes again.

Nice job!

NICE!

Ray Brown was one of my favorite niner players. The guy was super classy. And if I remember correctly he had some crazy number of games in a row without allowing a sack. I think it spanned multiple years. Does anyone else have a better memory of that?
Great news!!! I wish he could suit up again. If he coaches like he played we should see a much improved line........
