I think this points to not having a pass rush or a speedy secondary. If our secondary was fast enough, they wouldn't get burned so much. If our pass rush was faster, the secondary wouldn't have to cover so long. It goes hand in hand. But we have some good defensive players, but our defense isn't "there" yet.

It's our 3rd down offense that's hurting our defense. If our offense has longer drives, converting on critical 3rd downs, it allows us to score more points, establish momentum and give our defense much needed rest.
