I see this game more like the Atlanta game. Philly is playing good ball right now. And at home they tend to be tough. We seem to only put one or a few good games together and then go back to our bad ways. We are due to get blown out IMO. We could easily lose this game by 40 or more points.
This has "Atlanta game" written all over it. Or like going into Chicago that one year. I just see this as a blow out game. I will be surprised if we keep it close.
Now im not saying we are the best team in the world but give the Niners some credit, other than the Atlanta game all the games they have lost have been under 7 points. They have held their own against some of the better offenses this year, like the Colts, Packers, and Texans.
I think this will be a close game, the Niners will have a chance to win this game hopefully they step up again and get that W, I will be rooting for them.

we lack the speed in the secondary to keep up with those receivers. however, if we could knock them around at the line of scrimmage we me have a chance. as for this game being a blow out, the atlanta game was a fluke and the eagles are nothing like the falcons (play style not talent) so you can't even compare. taking that game out we have lost every game by a touchdown or less (4 by indy). all season our d has proven themselves, this game rides on which alex shows up or oline.

I see almost no chance at all of winning this one but I hope we do.

I hate to be pesimistic; but, the last 3 times we played them we've lost by an average of 22 points and have given up an average of 40 points. We've scored an average of 18 points in these games.
Philly is in the top 1/3 of the league on both O and D. Were in then middle 3rd (2 out of 3)on D and the bottom 1/3 on O (3 out of 3). They have scored an average of 31 points in their last 5 games and we've scored an average of 19.
I think we lose this one 17 to 30...

I think D. Jackson will score 6 TD's on both Offense and Special Teams combined. We are in big trouble. I don't think we can keep up with this team. Not even close.

6 TD's

God I hope your wrong!I think there going to get an early lead and sit on it til the 4th where they put us away for good.
I think our best shot if we can get up on them quick and let our D loose like Monday night. These guys play much more aggressive when we have the lead and that's going to be our best hope.
Here's hoping were both wrong

Sounds about right. We are a bad team and Philly has been good for a long time.
There is nothing wrong with his statement because its true. We are very inconsistent and a win would depend on which 49ers show up.
not only which 49ers squad shows up but which eagles squad shows up, lets not forget what the raiders did to them this year....but the odds are against from the gate with a short week, traveling east, and potential snow showers...

Thats ok, the Niners are 8-3-2 against the spread. 2nd in the NFL in fact.

Living outside of Philly I watch every Eagles game- or at least hear about it all week. As much as people say this "has Atlanta written all over it" this is the EXACT games the Eagles typically crap the bed in. After big divisional games they almost always have a let down- granted its a trend across the NFL, but especially true for Philly under Andy Reid. I have no idea why but I cannot tell you how many times Eagles fans get hyped after one game and are so let down the next (sound familiar?)
On the other hand, the Niners know they cant lose- Im cautiously optimistic about sunday. Philly's O almost never shows in games like this- I think we have a shot
