Best of Luck - Health and Happiness to you Joe and yours.
Hopefully someone in the Zone knows how to put together a petition for a
"Joe Staley Day" in the upcoming season.
I'd be proud and happy to sign it.

Thank you, Joe.
One of my favorite Niners (along with Gore, Willis, and Bo) outside of the usual suspects from the Niners Golden Era.
McGlinchey should now wear #74.

No. He's already had enough Staley comparisons. Let McG be his own man.

Damn. Joe will always be a champion and a true 49er to me. He truly gave his heart and soul and he should never have to buy another 49er game ticket in his life! I hope he's on his sofa with us this season cheering the guys on

Say it ain't so Joe!! Loved watching you for the last 13yrs and you are the definition of a true 49er. You played with heart and class and you left everything on the field for the squad and i'll forever be thankful for that. You. Alex and Franky were/are/always will be my boys and you were the last link remaining and I am truly sad to see you go. I really hope you enjoy your life after football, you deserve it. You will always be a 49ers legend. Thank you for the memories!!
PS. Super sad we couldn't get you a chip, but best believe when we win one, you will be right there!!

Like with Gore, I really wanted Joe to get a ring. I wish him the best in retirement. I fully anticipate him to have a career in broadcasting

Talk him out of retirement. Somebody go break one of our Gs legs so we can talk him into coming back as a G.
