I've been saying all year that our best three WRs are Crabtree, Morgan, and Hill. And I know I'm not the only one that was saying that. Nice to see him get a chance and make something of it today. It sucks that it takes an injury from Bruce (who has done nothing this year) for the coaching staff to give Hill a chance. But I'm happy he's finally gotten on the field. 2 TDs. How many TDs do the rest of the WR core have combined? Hill is our fastest WR, and that's something that we really need to take advantage of if we're going to have bigger, slower WRs on the other side. Going forward I want to see three WR sets with Crabtree, Morgan, and Hill.

All Jason Hill ever does is produce when he is on the field. Morgan is more likely to drop a pass, run a wrong route or get a penalty than he is to make a play. Why doesn't Hill get on the field more? Maybe it is time for the Niners to get a new receivers coach. Jerry Sullivan, the supposed one of the best in the business, never seems to develop any receivers.

Please people see it. I've been saying this over and over and I was laughed out the the WZ for it. Morgan is so overrated on this board. He had a couple of good PRESEASON GAMES. Dude is slow and drops too many balls. He needs to be a #3 or on the bench.

Bruce is done. Morgan's inability to go snare the ball cost us this game plus he's a pin head. PLEASE start Crabtree, Jason Hill and Brandon Jones.

Jason Hill today, highlighted the true ineptitude of the entire 49ers offensive staff and it sucks to say head coach....

Shaun Hill according to Coach Sing, won the starting job because of what he did at the end of the year in 08... Sing said that, and it's true, because in pre-season Hill and Smith didn't really separate themselves..

Why did Jason Hill not get that same treatment? He was just as good the last part of 08... Jason Hill in some games was inactive this year.. He was buried behind Battle and Spurlock.. Even Zeigler at one point...

Just baffles me!

I've been saying over and over and over Jason Hill NEEDS TO BE IN THERE (not just should be). And I was laughed at by the Jason Hill haters. He and Crabtree have the best hands on the team. He catches everything. Honestly when was the last time you remeber Jason Hill dropping a key pass?

Plus he has 4.32 speed making him our fastest WR. We have Isaac Bruce who is like 40 years old by now and running a 4.8 these days and dropping every ball in sight. Even Josh Morgan drops way, way too many balls in many games in a row. Honestly the best hands are Jason Hill and Michael Crabtree. That's who should be getting the passes.

I just can't believe our coaching staff is this clueless and I have no idea what Singletary has against Jason Hill. All he ever does is run good routes, makes catches and score touchdowns whenever he is in for the last 2 seasons. IT'S NOT BASED ON HIS PLAY!

The decisions the coaches have made this season have probably already cost us a playoff appearance.

Really the best 2 WR's on this team are Jason Hill and Michael Crabtree. It's blasphamy on this board to say that with Josh Morgan. But Morgan drops way, way too many catchable balls. And Isaac Bruce is completely washed up. Hill and Crabtree should be getting the passes and Hill has the speed that our offense lacks.

I honestly can't believe he was buried this far down our depth chart for this long, almost cut and not getting any playing time. He's possibly a #2 on this team and for goodness sake at least a #3.

It really makes me question who is in charge of this circus we call the 49ers.

did Hill tie up bruce and stuff him in a locker? i was pleasantly surprised to see Hill out there today. he is probably our best receiver and has been since last year but he gets his first catch today... i love how we always uncover guys we've had the whole season when half the season is gone

My thoughts:

I like the leadership Bruce brings, but it's time for us to go with Hill and get him established.
