Apparently at 1 game under .500 with 7 games left to play people are already throwing in the towel and looking to next year... Little early maybe?

I never thought the 9ers would be a playoff team this season, but I did think they might sneak in there. That's still a possibility, but I think they would probably be bounced in the first round. Next season is the season that they need to do something big and become a Super Bowl contender again.

I want them to play out the season like they think they may have a chance at a wild card spot(because it could happen)! If they get to playoffs, I would HATE for them to get blown out!

I hate to be the one to tell you this but, they aren't getting a wild card spot. They either take the NFC West or they'll be sitting at home come January again...

Saints (8-0) are going to win the South, Vikings (7-1) win the North, Dallas(6-2)/Philly(5-3)/NYG(5-4) wins the East. That leaves the Falcons, and the 2 teams who don't win the east in a much better position for the 2 wildcard spots, which is most likely leaves the Falcons to take one spot and one of those two others to take the other spot.. We have a much better chance of hoping that we can continue to win and have the cardinals lose one game before we get a chance to play them again. I really don't see much of a possibility of taking a wildcard spot with those teams sitting there but, things could definitely change.
