This loss was a real heart breaker. We adjusted, played tough, and should have won the game. It's just so damn frustrating that Favre, of all people, was able to pull off that miracle play.

But, We are the real deal. Hill can make plays with his arm when given his chance. Davis had his coming out party, which, unfortunately, will be overshadowed by the L. We did this without Gore for the entire game. There are positives and hopefully it will be a learning experience. I just hope Sing doesn' t allow this loss to demoralize the players. I have a feeling he'll be able to right the ship after this loss. I really just hope Raye realizes that we CAN throw the ball quite well and that we never play that prevent D s**t again.

This week sucks, but lets kill the rams.

Without Gore we don't have thoroughbreds on offense. We have a bunch of clydesdales. Lots of 3 & outs should be expected.

Then throw in the fact we keep using that busted ass silent snap and tipping the defense when the ball is going to be snapped and wallah!

Need to activate Sheets. If we plan on running then we need inside and outside runners.

The bright side is we play th eRams next week!

Your supposed to play prevent defense. With 12 seconds left and about 50 yards to go...you play prevent defense and keep them from getting out of bounds.

Not playing prevent opens up space for a huge play.

Instead we got screwed by luck.

To be honest, I didnt think we would hear that the 3rd game into the season.

Give credit where its due. I hate Favre with a passion but we got beat on an amazing play.

Why run the ball 3 times and then punt? Because you want to run out the clock and not have a turnover near your own goal line! Hill was being harassed all day. We were able to take time off the clock while the Vikes had to burn all 3 of their time outs.

Why play prevent defense? Because with a little over a minute to go, if you play tight man coverage, you expose yourselves to big plays. To counter that you give up the 5-8 yard plays and keep them in bounds to keep the clock running.

Everything was working fine and perfect until Favre let loose a 40 yard bullet that the WR some how held onto and got both feet in bounds. THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN! THAT PLAY IS WHY WE LOST THE GAME.

Call it what you want...luck...freaky accident. The game plan was perfect.

The coverage was pretty decent on that play...the ball was perfectly thrown.

I beg to differ. You get a first down and you win. You at least have to try to get the first down and putting no pressure on the QB during a two min drill will nearly always cause a loss.

I check my iPhone on my last break before I get out of work and I see that we're up 24-20 on the vikes with 1:40 to go and I get so excited I almost forgot to clock out........then I get home.............WHAT THE F**k!!!!...........we lost on a lucky pass to a dinosaur! I feel like someone ran over my dog. Actually I wouldn't feel as bad as this. I can't wait until we play the rams.

What absolutely drove me nuts was that raye called that running play where Morgan lines up sideways at the line of scrimmage 10 times. Not once did we use playaction out of it. Instead we told the defense we were running. I cannot believe that this happened so many times. We ran maybe 3 times that wasn't just straight up the middle. I've never been so pissed off watching this offense. Why does raye let Hill throw only in the 4th quarter? Get him in a groove early and often and that will open up the f**king running game. Raye is horrible and he will be the reason we fail in the long run. 0-11 on 3rd down? Run on 3rd and long and pass on 3rd and 1. I think we ran on first down for like 4 consecutive series. COME ON.

3. Shaun Hill has proven he can throw the ball. To add to that, he has incredible poise and awareness in the pocket.
