Dude 0/11 on third down doesn't fall on the coaches. IMO it falls directly on the players. Teams that go 0/11 aren't going to win football games.

Minnesota has one of the best defenses in the league and our O-line can't block.

And he kept doing the same thing. 3rd and 1...they were run blitzing...we ran. That happened over and over again. You have to change it up sometimes.

Yea lets blame our defense

The defense kept this game close. Just needed one third down conversion from the offense. Just one......

Thats is 3 weeks in a row where we gave the other team the ball back when all we needed was a one 1st down to end the game. This time the defense couldnt stop them (although I think the ball wasn't secure when he came down.) The loss of Gore also hurt because on 3rd and shorts he can break the screens for the 1st down.

Hopefully his injury heals quick we need him back he is the centerpiece of the offense.

Can't blame this on Raye. Prevent D at the end is what killed us. Why would you rush 5 at the end of the Tards game and rush 3 at the end of this game. Makes no sense.

I'm with you as lame as some of the play calling was it all came down to the defense and they failed. Play calling is skeptical but this isn't on Raye's shoulders. It's squarely on the defense fo giving up that entire drive. None of Raye's lame play calling stopped anybody on this defense from making a play on that last drive. I know folks would rather blame a coach than the players but all 11 men failed on that last defensive drive.

We had a lot of sucess throwing the ball much like in the Arizona game but we continue to run when it doesn't work? This lost does go to the defense but I do see a trend going on.

The Vikings got lucky. We dominated the second half and they win with Favre's heroics in the final seconds. If we can rebound next week and continue to improve we will be VERY tough to beat this season. The defense played great, Hill played great, Vernon, Morgan, Bruce, Lawson - all played great games. I think if we have a healthy Gore we win that game. But enough about Minnesota, they can't do anything but learn from it now, all teams lose, but elite teams bounce back. Let's go kick the s**t outta the Lambs next week.
