probably expected to still be the first receiver taken, if raiders take another guy maybe this isn't an issue

Maybe. If that's all it is I'd be even less sympathetic . . . if it's possible to be sympathetic for a kid holding a $16million dollar lotto ticket.

Wasn't DHB pretty much the consensus 4th rated WR behind Crabtree, Maclin & Harvin?

Honestly, if the story on Rotoworld is correct, and Parker has been notified that the Niners will not increase their contract offer outside the 10th slot, I think we can pretty much stick a fork in this baby. Crabtree will not play for the 49ers. Another terrific chapter in this disaster we call the 49ers.
youre probably right but you dont know for sure. crabby could wind up deciding that the risk of losing more endorsements, hurting his image, and getting picked later are too much. this could still be a bluff. or he may get bored catching passes from the juggs machine and might want to play. do you remember when sing told him he couldnt practice because of his foot and he cried? my thinking is he logically will cave eventually whether he knows it now or not.
Wishful thinking. Do you honestly believe this guy is going to limp in, begging for the team to sign him?

probably not but he could just decide to take the offer as long as it remains the same. you act like we are kicking him in the teeth by offering him a slotted deal.

or you could be right and our fo is a bunch of novices which i pondered a few pages ago. who knows. but i dont understand why he worked out for the 9ers in the first place if he wasnt going to be signeable. i dont understand why scot wanted him so bad if he thought he might not play.

To be totally honest I would've taken Britt and maybe even Hakeem Nicks ahead of him as well. Those guys actually catch the ball...

britt looks really good vs pit, he just had a 57 yard catch or something like that. i liked him in college too. maclin and nicks looked good in preseason also. at this point i wouldve loved to have any of them over crabtree.

I loved Britt at Rutgers, but he was considered a Diva before the draft.

summary? cant view it on my phone, which is the only internet i have right now. but if he didnt want to play for us i dont even know why he worked out for us?
ok guys check this and ponder this with me for a second. So yeah looks like he not giving in and thankfully the niners arent either. So with that said do you honestly think teams will give us a 1st for him in march? i honestly think teams will know what kinda money this guy wants and what kind a person he is which is TO like and shy away from him for a first. BUT we have to get anything right? so niners lose and have to give in to the highest bidder and i think it will be no more than a second rounder at best, thougts?

also im glad he didnt give in, with that kinda attitude, you can tell he more about the money than playing football, no heart.

gotta love chad johnson though, i think he a niner fan lol, he basically called out crabtree, saying he cares more about money than football, saying he nothing like him haha i love it. Also lost all respect for dieon sanders eventhough he won a superbowl with us, seems like he more cowboys than anything these days.
