The wise old owl, Herm Edwards predicted a 49er victory over the pack on NFL Live this afternoon. I don't know about you but I have a great deal of respect for Coach Edwards and like the 49ers chances this Sunday.

I have respect for him but his picks are off a lot. That isn't to say I don't think the Niners can win. I know they can win. I hope they turn the corner this week. =)

i believe that we will win on Sunday, i also noticed that since the bears game , coach sing has been getting on the o-line which is a great sign, he has to light a match under these guys to play at least decent as a o-line

I don't think Morgan is the answer. He's regressed this year. If the 49ers play it right look for Hill to have a big game and open it up for everyone else. Those linebackers the pack have are decent against the run but they suck in coverage. This entire secondary can be had. I know about Woodson but Harris can be had. He isn't the same DB he was 2 years ago. Alex needs to play like a vet and he absolutely cannot stare down the receiver. It's imperative we move toward a 3 wr set in this game and ditch the tight end.

I like our chances too... but i just hope this isn't one of those playing to not to loose games... luckily they don't have all the fire power on offense going for them and we should be able to stop their run.

I am really tired of that strategy as well, must be frustrating to Defense as well. we need to go all in and play to win this week.

Morgan is barely into his second year,it's way early to give up on him, just my opinion.
I like J.Hill alot and I'm glad he's finally on the field this year.
Go Niners

What are you talking about? Giving up is second nature around here.
Alex Smith gets hurt in his 3rd year: he's a bust.
Vernon Davis doesn't have 1,000 yards receiving in his 1st year: he's a bust.
Manny Lawson doesn't have 10 sacks in his 1st year: he's a bust.
Josh Morgan doesn't have 10 TDs through 9 games in his 2nd year: he's a bust.
I'll be patiently waiting until our brilliant fans start calling Crabtree a bust.
The funniest is on the day of the game. I remember against Minnesota when we were down 10-0, so all the whining fans starting proclaiming the game was over, the season was over, etc. We came back and almost won. The same thing happened against the Texans. We go down 14-0 and everyone starts saying the game is over. Some of the people on here are just heartless, fickle, and uneducated. They think they know it all, but there's a reason why they're fans and not players or coaches.
