If he doesn't play, I think that's going to be a big hit on your pass rush. Bryant will do OK against the run, but he does cause near the trouble that Mebane does on passing downs.

Mebane has been developing into a stud for us. It would definately suck if he wasn't in there. From a pass rushing standpoint I wonder if they wouldn't try to unleash some of that lightening in a bottle nick reed was showing in the preseason. He led the league is sacks in the preseason. Off course that was from a DE position. Not DT. Just a random thought there.

I don't think he would have much impact. Probably be pretty lost, there's not much scheming going on in the pre-season, as you probably already know.

There really isn't. We treated the week before game three like the regular season and game planned and went thru the normal regular season practice schedule. But it really isnt the same.

Hey now, they were the greatest show on turf. lol. I am just trying to get a little conversation going in here.

Frankly, I don't think the Rams are as bad as we made them look but time will tell. I reckon we'll find out just how good our D is in the coming weeks.

Essentially claiming the seahawks are the best team in the division (NFL? World? Universe?) because they beat the Rams.

Their very young Defense impressed me before the unwound FG block and the resulting TD put a dagger in their hearts. They still brought it in the 2nd half but their Offense left them on the field way too long. Kinda like what happened to the Hawk's D last year in many games.

the 49ers should be concerned about TE Calrson

He hurt us last year, and I think he can do some serious damage in the league this year.

However, that was when we ran the vaunted "Big Nickel".

I still think he will be the key factor to this game, we need to cover him.

Leonard Weaver is gone too, so we dont have to worry about him.

Yep Weaver is gone but then ya have to watch ALL of our backs because ALL of our backs can catch. Look for the screen cause Knapp seems to like it, unlike Holmgren.

Jones' run in the 3rd didn't help either. They came out on a mission though. I thought those turnovers were going to kill us.
