He wasn't a diva at Texas Tech, why are people so convinced he is one now?
Have any of you met him? I have a few times and he wasn't a diva, he was cool to me, and I'm a nobody ... a diva would have blown me off.

P.S.
Why isn't there a Smily taking his pants down maybe wearing 49ers boxers maybe.
Guess I was wrong...
At the Latest I was hoping today..

I had a class with Sergio Kindle last semester, and he wasn't exactly the friendliest. (or the most studious)

That's cool, he's gonna be really good.
My mom used to teach at TTU, she had Harrell in her class, and he was so low-key that she didn't even know he was the QB until he asked her to sign his athletic absence permission slips. He never bragged or anything, quite different than his cocky on-field persona.
Crabtree and Harrell were both really cool, but they didn't quite break the football d******d steriotype ... I've had some other Tech players in my classes that weren't friendy too.

just to be devil's advocate... I think personally as a player obsessed at by thousands of people it would be hard to be super friendly to everyone... Especially at times where I dont want to be (class -- I'd rather be on the field). On campus walking around I'd be friendly but in class, nahhhh I'd keep to myself I think. Just saying it'd be hard to be friendly if you're tired from morning practice or if you lost and are catching a bunch of heat from students all day.
but to crabtree -- I'm over it honestly. I just want B. Jones back
he was doing so good. Hopefully Crabtree gets into camp this week and will be starting practice/learning the playbook in time to watch the game on sunday and see the plays in person. Football starts tonight tho! WOOHOO

Well I hope you are right, if he turns out to not be a diva I will be the first to admit I am wrong.

I don't think anyone would give Kindle crap for losing. He was a thick dude. It was just weird to see him in this giant auditorium style class sitting alone every day.
Now that you mention it cestmoi, I do remember several stories through the year about Harrell/Crabtree being good kids...but it's real easy to become a diva.

Most college players arent divas until they enter the NFL.

Aaron Curry just signed...

6 years, 60 million, with 34 guaranteed.
Hope this isn't a bad sign for us trying to get Crab in. Curry, at 4, got more money than Tyson Jackson at 3. So there is now an example of a non-QB in the top ten getting more money than a guy drafted ahead of him.
Whoa!! Hold on!!!
Shut down the NFL right now!! Aaron Curry, the 4th overall, received more money that Tyson Jackson, the 3rd overall. There should be rioting in the streets!! The media should be furious!! Fans across the NFL should be up in arms!!!
How dare Crabtree receive more money than the players above him!!!! He must bow to the 10th overall pick gods!!!!
Case #4567893 of how many in the media are dumb as bricks over this matter. Their populist, and stupid rants, which appeal to the lowest morons in the universe, gets shot down once again.
Sloppiness sucks. Crabtree's agent has every right to appeal for a salary beyond the normal tenth overall pick.
P.S. Looking for intelligent writers in the NFL to debunk this stupid "Crabtree must fall into the tenth slot" argument. The exception list to the sanctity of the slotting grew one more just today. Very strange that Ray Ratto, for once in his career, seems to get it.
Yea he got more, he also signed a longer contract!!!

Tyson Jackson DE Kansas City Signed 5 years, $57 million ($31M guaranteed) 3
Aaron Curry LB Seattle Signed 6 years, $60 million ($34M guaranteed)
Jackson's $31 million/5 years= $6.2 million
Curry's $34 million/6years= $5.666 million
Do the math, Curry got less guaranteed money per year!!!!
There for, following the proper slotting
