No, it doesn't. But it is probably the first positive news we've had. Thanks for the find.

Crabtree is just waiting for Smith to be named the starter.
He has worked with Smith during a few weeks in July and he is the QB he is most comfortable with. Once Smith is named starter going into the 3rd preseason game, Crabtree will want to sign so he can go back to his home down of Dallas and catch a few throws from Smith.

I actually think that morenos contract hurts crabbys position because moreno was picked only 2 spots later and got like half of what crabtree is asking so i doubt that really helps his position much. but if more guys continue to sign for market value parker might be in more of a hurry to get a deal done because market value will get lower and lower. i dunno, i just want crabby signed.

Ty Jackson just signed. Eugene Parker's other client.
shouldn't of Ty have gotten Pick 15 money, since he was predicted to go from 15 on?

He'll be in camp the Monday after the first exhibition.
If he has any buds giving him common sense advice, they'll tell him the season holdout thing will be a disaster. I understand that next year's draft will be flush with good receivers.
He may be glamorous, but my impression from Crabtree's interviews was that he was defensive against the prima donna tag (explaining that his "entourage" wasn't an entourage, but just his family).
He has to save face, so he won't be in this week. But he has to pull his plane out of the dive. I say Monday, 8/17 he'll be here shoes shined, teeth brushed, ready to...well, figure out what's going on for a couple of months . . .
