It seems like he has worked hard this offseason, he worked with Justin Smith if I'm not wrong. Glad to see he's a hard worker, and is now making some plays.

Any word on the rook? Him and Gore could really tear up the league with their hit you in the mouth style.

Yesterday, from what I saw, Coffee didn't have nearly as much punch through the hole that Gore did. Gore was bursting left and right. Coffee seemed to get stuffed at the line most of the time. He looked pretty good on some short passes, so he's got decent hands. Michael Robinson can catch better, and their running is probably about the same right now, so I don't think you can say Coffee is the clear cut 2nd back as of yet. His highly-touted physical abilities haven't shown up yet.

Coffee's probably not instinctively familiar enough with the plays yet...maybe he's hesitating as he figures it all out. Wonder if Kory Sheets is involved and how he looks?

Hey, does anyone know how much Michael Robinson is weighing these days...I am guessing over 240 lbs. at this point.

really doubt that. At most i think 235 but likely 230, he entered the league at 220 if im not mistaken.

IMO, it would be great for the team to have Robinson starting at FB. He held his own with Willis yesterday during the Nutcracker. If his blocking is comparable to Norris, he'd give the team more weapons.

Having Robinson starting at full-back seems like a stretch, but I could see him as the fullback on third down passing plays, as he can catch the ball quite well.

Don't forget Norris is pretty decent at catching the ball. Recall his TD against Denver during the last game of '06 season.

Also from Barrow's twitter, Boone looking solid in pass rush drills. Good to hear, if he has a solid Preseason, it will spell the end to Barry Sims. But I'm not getting my hopes up.

Barry Sims is now the backup to Joe Staley at LT correct? Now that's a scary thought. Stay healthy Joe!

Correct..

Staley-Bass-Heitmann-Rachal-Snyder
Sims- Toledo-Wallace-Wragge-Smith

Hopefully Boone can beat out Sims and Smith can overtake Snyder.

Whats going to happen to the crabs?

Josh Morgan, that's whats going to happen to him, then when Josh is done, Jason Hill will reach higher in the depth chart, and then Brandon Jones.

So to be honest, nothing will happen to Crabs, but that's exactly the point. When the season starts, he will not produce nothing because according to his agent he is a number 3 pick, even though for some strange reason we are sitting there at #10 and we get him.

(p.s. to Mr Parker, why sell youself short and not claim he's the #1 pick, Why stop at number 3?)

I never liked crabs not only cuz ima Texas fans but if you watched all his Highlight reels, Majority of those plays came against WEAK teams. Bayor, rice, UTEP, and the one play he had against Texas to win the game, not to mention the corner covering him on that play was a Freshman.

The two guys that were trying to cover him both got burned,if you look at the guys stats,he did good against all the teams he played, even though that conference overall is weaker than some.
I can't wait to see Alex in preseason. I want to see Crabtree too

I am really interested in how Kory Sheets performs.
