The outside of the stadium looks like a bunch of giant tooth picks. That's the only gig it has.

thats one side of the stadium, the other side is glass

I hope they use that green tinted glass, that looks sharp as hell. They should also use some bricks in the front instead of the tooth pics.

First of all... Brick structure in the Bay??? Earthquakes bro...

Second of all... Bricks and green tinted windows? This is silicon valley, not Green Bay Wisconsin.

LOL. It looks good, though. I don't like the match stick look.

concrete & metal = should be painted "international orange" (scarlet) same color as the golden gate bridge
glass = should be tinted gold

Dude...Mayo....are you FROM the Bay Area?

If you are than you should know that we don't use bricks here for the same reason that most houses don't have basements. Bricks don't "give" in the even of an earthquake. That break and collapse.

As for your "toothpick" think, yer just gonna have to get over it. What people don't understand about the design is this this is all function over form. It won't be ugly by any stratch, bu tthey concentration here is on game-day experience, bot "how does it look from space".

Its going to be painted white and the glass will be tinted the same color it is on most buildings. It'll look alot like the other buildings in the area. The design fits all of the other buildings in the area.

20k-80k for seat licenses I think the niners may be over valuing these seats. Wouldn't be shocked if they cant sell them and you see them empty like Yankee seats in the front rows.

so even if people dont buy the PSLs, couldnt they just sell the seats throughout the season? Could people still not have those seats as season ticket holders, they just wouldnt hold the rights to those seats?

All that info is in the Brochure I attached. Answering qhuestions froma number of users here...

1) Some of the most expensive sections are already sold out and it has been reported that they are ahead of their goal for sales.

2) The SBL buys you the right to buy the ticket. Its like paying to BECOME a season ticket holder. They can be sold, or even willed away to another party. They last for the life of the building.

3) As for what happens should those seats not sell, who knows. I houghly doubt thats going to happen tho. They have already sold out of a few sections and shovel hasn't even hit dirt yet. ALOT of people have no idea that seats are even for sale. Additionally, they are only contacting CURRENT season ticket holders right now to buy club seats, so the general public has not yet had the chance to buy them.

4) The tickets are NOT overvalued if you use the pricing structure of stadlums built recently. In Dallas, those club seats go for as much a 100K in an area with a MUCH, MUCH lower median income. Yes, they are expensive, but welcome to todays NFL. Cities are out of the Stadium Building business (especially in California).

4) There is a 10 year payment plan.
yea i'm not sure how anybody pays for them psl's with a straight face. Guess spend it if you got it. but i'm just buying into that b******t.

It sucks, but it's the new reality of NFL stadiums. When a City kicked in to build a stadium, the was no need for SBLs/PSLs. They don't do that anymore. If you want to "privately" finance a stadium, that's how you do it.

Peeps can b*tch and complain all they want, but that's the reality.

Another thing about the seat license. It guarantees future season ticket sales. Since you have to buy the season ticket or lose your SBL straight up. No refund. So when you buy the license you are pretty much committing.
