I'm an NFL first-timer visiting SF from Dec 18th - Dec 24th from Australia and I'm desperate to get hold of 2 tickets for Monday night against the Steelers. I've been following the Niners since Super Bowl XIX and have never seen a game in the flesh, it would kill me to be in the city and not make the game.
My only other affordable option is to watch the Raiders vs Lions on Dec 19th - short of a lottery win this will be the only chance I get in the next 5/10 years to see a game in the flesh. Even tried sending an emotional email to the ticket office with no success, just directed me to Ticketmaster reseller site and the prices just aren't in my league.
Guys...sincerely, any help or advice would make our vacation. And also stop me from having to subject my girlfriend to the Oakland Raiders.

Anybody know what kind of prices tickets go from scalpers usually?? I'm having trouble finding affordable tix for the Steelers game, is it worth trying to get some outside the stadium? Much appreciated

(2) tickets in Lower Box 15 Row R, seats near the aisle
