IWantWinners, you are saying that Lewis is better than Clements and I'm saying it's an illegitimate comparison. I like them both for different reasons. You posted this data to support your argument:

Breaston - 124 yards
Boldin - 92 yards 2 TDs
Fitz - 46 yards 1 TD

Clements was on Fitz. Just for the sake of argument, who was on Breaston?

Can't get enough of it!
Oh yea! Another one of IWantWinners opinions. Honestly, do you think anyone cares what you think?

Obviously they do because this thread has 5 pages of discussion.

he doesn't care what anyone thinks, he said so in another post

which is why he makes threads, so he can not care about what people say in them
Breaston - 124 yards
Boldin - 92 yards 2 TDs
Fitz - 46 yards 1 TD

I'm still waiting for him to tell us who was on Breaston. I know Clements was on Fitz.

Nobody was on anyone. The 49ers played ALOT of zone against Arizona. Nate Clements made a few tackles against Breaston that day, so did Brown and Strickland.

Michael Lewis is better than a guy who held Larry Fitzgerald to like 7 catches all last season? Really?

what are you talking about? both Boldin and Fitz kicked our butt last season. Even Breaston ate our "secondary".

3 for 31 and 8 for 46 kicked our ass?

What he said. Clements only had bad one game last year. The Cowgirls game.

Lewis is great in run support, and average in coverage. Walt is a good corner, and we know Spencer and Brown are good nickel corners. We still have a lot of unproven talent at FS and SS in terms of the depth chart. But we have to see what there made of before calling them crappy.

That's close to correct. Clements is given primary responsibility for Fitzgerald and is usually man-to-man on him. I've got complaints, but not about him doing his primary job.

not Clements, not Walt Harris, and certainly not that ball hawk Roman

That's just sad. Our secondary sucks in the redzone. When opposing teams pass in the redzone I can almost guarantee that it's going to a touchdown. How can we fix this? Start a new FS, I don't care who it is. Any bum off the street is better than Roman. Start Brown over Harris. Harris is too old and slow now. Let Clements play to his style which is bump and run. We need a good FS so Clements can get physical with the WR. Michael Lewis doesn't need any help, he's a beast.

wow what are you smoking? clements is the best hands freakin down.

You should be talking about yourself. All of your posts on here are either 1 sentence long or a line dissing someone.

I totally agree! Please just cork it, you will be doing us all a huge favor. Just shut the f up Iwantwinners, your posts are completely ignorant and show your lack of understanding of the 49ers as a whole. GO AWAY!

Put down the crack now.

ok, how many big plays have Michael Lewis given up compared to Nate? let's debate

Nate had one bad game uno, it just happened to be the worst game of his career, and happened be in Dallas against the Cowboys, and he had to be covering or lack there of TO. Lewis as much as I love having him cannot cover deep, that's why we had Roman and Goldson on most 3rd down pass plays, Lewis a solid safety, but come on this isn't even up for debate, what's next you gonna say Spikes is the best Linebacker on are team (when of course Willis is) or Bass is the best O-Lineman (when of course Staley is), come on now.

Michael Lewis has played SS better than Nate played CB since the addition of them. That's all i am saying. If you think it's wrong then we could dig deeper into the games that they have played.

Clements has given TONS of big plays while Lewis hasn't.

Clements is also on an island EVERY SINGLE PLAY so you cant compare the two. Your logic is severely flawed.

So getting smoked by Devery Henderson for a 90 yard TD wasn't a bad game?

90 yds? Are you referring to a game you played in Madden or something? That TD catch was made by Meachem and it wasn't even 50 yards let alone 90, yikes. Besides that TD was Goldson's fault in the first place.

TONS are you dreaming of these plays, do you have some anti-lockdown-22 mentality or something? The Moss TD Harris' fault, Meachem's TD Goldson's fault. Those were the 2 big one's not counting a certain game in Dallas last year. Lewis has been a better SS than Nate has been a CB sense they both got to SF, ya and McCain is still a better prez candidate than Obama, dude put down the crack it's bad for you, as we can all see it's makin' you say beyond demented things, yikes.
