49ers or Redskins maybe interested in Vick

Just a rumor.......whoaaaaaaaaa baby lets get him!!!! Screw what people think I want Vick here and So does Sing. I think its McCloughan's scary ass that does not want him and wants to hang on to Alex Leaf. I'm pretty sure Coach Sing thinks Alex is a p***y in terms as leadership and confidence after watching him over the years.

You can drop your weak argument for getting Vick, Singletary closed the door on that ridiculous idea today in his press conference. Sorry, but if you wanna watch your boy, you'll have go watch whatever team is dumb enough to waste time with him. Your conjecture about what Singletary thinks about Smith would be laughable if it weren't so sadly uninformed. You wanna talk p***y,how about a guy that literally beats a dog to death because it lost a fight? That takes a real man to be able to do that. So if you think Smith has no heart, let's give you a 3rd degree separation of the shoulder then throw you into an NFL game, then we'd see who the p***y is. Smith is here on the niners because he is a niner at heart, he could have gotten the same money from San Diego if he wanted out of San Francisco, but he chose to stay, that is called loyalty in case you are unfamiliar with the concept. Luckily for us, what you want is irrelevant in the greater scheme of things.

Yeah Sing was forced by McCloughan to drop it. If the Niners love this p***y so much they would not have flirted with Warner or Vick. He still will be riding the pine. Talk about uninformed, nice making up that story of San Diego signing this bust. I notice the Alex Leaf Lovers slowly changing their turn from he is going to win the starting job and tear it up to yeah maybe its best for him to sit this year

Plus I wouldn't be dumb enough to play injured like that. That's not being a man, that's being stupid. I can understand it a little more if we were in superbowl contention. Also you need to work on your comprehension skills. I said p***y in terms of leadership and confidence. But well coming from Memphis I can see how that slipped by you.

So because he doesn't agree with you that means you have to attack him?
Also when did the 49ers ever flirt with the intention of signing Vick? I clearly remember MS stating that Vick was not and has never been an option but hey think that all you want and continue on with the hate! Also your attack has been passed on to the Mods in an attempt to clean up NinerTalk from disrespectful posters.

Awww do you feel better now?

It's comments like that that will get you removed from the forum quickly. Either tone it down and play nice or find another forum to post in.

Glad your on the ball Oscar but he has already been removed from the forum. Thanks for looking into it though.

(Between you and me - it's more for the other people reading than the banned members )

Shhhh, don't tell nobody.

Don't worry your secret is safe with me

I hope Hill beats out Smith. If this plays out the niners would draft a QB next year and stop the hope that Alex will become anything more than average. Hill will never be seen as anything more than a back up or a stop gap until the next QB project comes along. I can live with that especially since I believe Hill will win more games than Alex if given the opportunity.
GO SMITH, shaun is getting into his early 30's hes nothing special... alex has promise... maybe not this year but next he could be our starting qb

Hey, good post, ninertico. I have a lot of respect for the points you made, and for both QBs. I don't know about some of you, but SF fans should have a far more exciting August than most team fans. It's gonna be great to evaluate all of these players... especially the QBs... and I hope everyone remembers that all we really want is 49er WINS at the end of it all.

well.. except for some trolls that only want to provoke and get others banned for retaliation, and see a player or our F/O fail so they can say "told ya so"...

If you were told, there is no need to reiterate as ESPN will have one hating eating humble pie.......every week.

Yeah well like someone posted earlier. Hill is busy working with the starters

That's hilarious. And how could Hill be working with the starters when this happened on everybody's OFF TIME? You know, while Gore was in Miami, and Vernon was in DC, and Bruce was in Missouri....

Right. Alex Smith working out with Crabtree ON THEIR OFF TIME.

Gotta love internet tough guys,if he was standing face to face with me,he'd never have the balls to take that tone.I was just about to invite him down here to the bluff city and show him a little southern hospitality. Thanks to the mods for getting rid of that hothead,he contributed nothing but drama to this forum anyways.
You know what is crazy. I am not even sure I would be sold on Tom Brady or Peyton Manning after a 2 year layoff.
Can't wait for the first preseason game, the only thing that sux is that we won't play Nolan this year, unless we both make it to the SuperBowl.

But everybody here knows the Broncos aren't up to the task....jk

Dam i can't wait...

Let's go Alex or Shaun, which ever QB gets us to where we wanna be, on top of the NFC west and in the Playoffs.

Can't wait for College Football Saturdays either. Im creamin just thinkin about it all...

I don't think anyone has really claimed to be SURE on Alex becoming wonderful. Only that he should have an opportunity and doesn't suck as badly as many claim. The only crowd that is living in absolutes are the haters, or blind lovers of Hill that attempt to knock down Alex to raise up their boy Hill.

I don't know why we all can't just agree that both QBs could be successful?!! When healthy, Alex does have all of the physical ability necessary to be a good QB. Its just his mental confidence that is his biggest issue. In regards to Shaun Hill, what he may lack in physical ability, he makes up for in toughness and leadership. They both have some things to prove, but in the end, I think either QB can make this team better. They both bring different aspects to the team! Why can't we just agree to disagree? Lets allow it to be settled on the football field. While I admit that I am rooting for Alex Smith, I have no problem at all with Shaun Hill. May the best man win!!!
What's even more crazy is that im not completely sold on S.Hill. He's 7-3 record is nice, but his deep ball throw is horrendous, i remember that Underthrown ball to B. Johnson against the cowboys that was intercepted in the Endzone and the other underthrown ball against The Rams to Jason Hill that luckily Josh Morgan caught to win us the game.

I wouldn't trust anyone that's completely sold on either of these guys. Only thing Smith's proven, so far, is that he shouldn't have been the first overall pick. And, Hill, where he's a gamer, his arm strength limits the team (but his accuracy and football smarts somewhat make up for that).

The good news, though, is that Hill has been effective moving the O and putting points on the board. If Smith beats him out, I would expect that he will at least be as productive as Hill was last year.

Excellent post, and this is how Alex supporters feel in a nutshell. If Alex beats Hill out next month, then the belief is that Alex can do as well as Hill did. Add to that, the overall belief that Alex can get even better as he rolls along, where the ceiling on Hill is believed much lower. Bottom line, and the most telling thing in all of this = The Alex supporters also support Hill, yet most of the Hill supporters do not support Alex. That's a shame...
