I would say the man is off the hot seat. For now.

See how Daboll is with Dart lol... loves him more than his family and kids...
Just heard, Brian Callahan out as HC of the Titans.
Per Copilot:
"Here's the rundown on Brian Callahan's exit in Tennessee:

    • Record & Struggles: Callahan lasted less than two full seasons. After a brutal 3–14 debut in 2024, the Titans hoped things would stabilize with rookie QB Cam Ward this year. Instead, they stumbled to a 1–5 start in 2025, including a 26–0 shutout loss to Houston and a winnable game dropped to the Raiders

    • Decision Point: Ownership and President of Football Ops Chad Brinker announced the move today, saying the team hadn't shown "sufficient growth" and that players, fans, and community "deserve a forward path".
    • Why Now
: The Titans gave Callahan a second chance after year one, but the offense never clicked—even after he handed off play-calling. Ward's rookie season was looking wasted, echoing the Caleb Williams struggles in Chicago.

What's Next: Tennessee will turn to an interim coach while exploring replacements. Names already being floated include veteran Super Bowl winners and young offensive minds who could salvage Ward's development6.

In short: Callahan's Bengals pedigree never translated in Nashville. The Titans are hitting reset—again—just two years after moving on from Mike Vrabel.

Some interesting hot seat games to watch
  • Steelers -5.5 at Bengals. A Bengals loss here could add Zac Taylor to the "Warm" list
  • Dolphins +2.5 at Browns. A Dolphins loss could prompt Stephen Ross to make a mid-season decision. A Browns loss could add Kevin Stefanski to the "Warm" list
  • Giants +7 at Broncos. A poor showing could move Brian Daboll back up to the "Hot" list
  • Commanders -2.5 at Cowboys. A loss at home to a division rival would not look good for Brian Schottenheimer's future
  • Packers -6.5 at Cardinals. A blowout loss at home to the Packers would add more heat on Jonathan Gannon

Bill Callahan out too as OL coach. Should we pursue him? .

Well, he still clearly knows his stuff but I'm not sure how much of an improvement he would be. Every little bit helps, though.

I don't know if coaching can solve a talent shortfall

  • AGREED

  • YES FOR BROWNS, BUT I THINK THE DOLPHINS WILL WAIT TILL THE END OF THE SEASON
  • Giants +7 at Broncos. A poor showing could move Brian Daboll back up to the "Hot" list
  • A WEEK AFTER KNOCKING OFF THE EAGLETS? HIGHLY UNLIKELY
  • Commanders -2.5 at Cowboys. A loss at home to a division rival would not look good for Brian Schottenheimer's future
  • ONE NEVER KNOWS WHAT JERRY JONES IS THINKING
  • Packers -6.5 at Cardinals. A blowout loss at home to the Packers would add more heat on Jonathan Gannon
  • I THINK THE CARDINALS HAVE SOURED ON GANNON

Mike Vrabel has won as many games as Pats head coach as the Titans have won in the two years since they fired him.
Big Bengals win over the Steelers last night means Zac Taylor is pretty safe for now.

Wow, that's pretty painful if you're a Titans fan.
Clock is ticking on McDaniel now.
