I just heard ESPN ask the same thing. He's a special teams expert
He is a CEO type coach. You dont need an offensive coordinator to be a successful head coach. He has won 61% of his games since 2018.

Sources: John Harbaugh is expected to emerge as a favorite for the head coaching job of the New York Giants.

Harbaugh will be in demand for many teams, not just the Giants.

If that kick went through, Tomlin probably the one getting fired instead of Harbaugh

Steelers have had three...THREE! total head coaches in my 55 years on this planet. that team does not fire head coaches. you gotta retire to lose that job.

Holy crap.
The Ravens actually did it. They fired Harbaugh.
I guess Lamar won out.
I heard the opposite that Lamar is Harbaughs guy and ownership was always open to moving on from. His price tag.

In the first 45 minutes after John Harbaugh was fired this afternoon, his agent Bryan Harlan said he received calls from seven NFL teams expressing interest in his client.

Hot Seat thread. I can recall the rumblings out of B'More, after the 5-11, 8-8, and 9-7 seasons of 2015, 2016 and
2017. Most of the "Fire Harbaugh" talk was initiated by fans, but quickly gained traction, as sports outlet began to
post articles.
IMO, two things saved his tenure with the Ravens:
• Owner Steve Bisciotti publicly backed Harbaugh after the 2017 season
• Ravens trading-back into the 1st Round, and select Lamar with the 32nd pick
I had to check their 2018 record, but the Raven were 4-5 with Flacco before he was benched (hip injury).
Lamar took over, and went 6-1 in his starts - Raven finished 10-6, and made the Playoffs.
Lamar has his fans, and doubters … but in 2019, the wins began to mount, the Raven went 14-2 on the season,
the "Fire Harbaugh" talk died, and everything was "Kool & The Gang" in B'More once again ... until it wasn't.
