It sounds lke once their doctor examined him they decided the injury looked worse than they anticipated. Not all doctors agree which is why people get different opinions. This isn't the first time a trade has been rescinded. The Ravens quickly reached an agreement with Hendrickson. I guess they liked his injury better than Crosby's.
