What a horrible play-call lol. I do agree with going for it though.

Possibly the last game of Aaron Rogers career. What could've been if we drafted him in 2005

He was lucky we didn't draft him. His career would have been much different, and we wouldn't have benefited from it at all. We were a dumpster fire in 2005, and he was an impatient dbag. Even GB almost lost patience with him when he was behind Favre throwing a fit. He would have been garbage here with no OL, no WR, and a constant changing of the OC. He wouldn't have even made it as long as Alex Smith did here.

TJ Watt with recent lung surgery giving it all he got with the season on the line. Ricky Pearsall sitting it out with a twisted ankle

Niners season was not on the line.

TJ Watt > Nick Bosa

He's a gifted player. I agree his development might have taken a delay but there's no comparison with the trajectory his career would have taken compared to Alex Smith. Alex was never a true talent, needed to be coddled every step of the way. He had his ceiling and not even Kyle could make him an all pro top 10 QB. Aaron Rodgers is naturally gifted. He also played through several coaches an always had his team in contention winning a SB with half his unit on IR.
We definitely would have won a SB with him here. And if paired with Harbaugh and that defense in the early 2010s, could've been a dynasty…
