The Refs giving the Lions fans false hope by 1st announcing TD then "But" lol. Why not just say pass interference on the offense, game over. You don't even have to mention the TD because it's a non factor. It would be different if the penalty was on the defense. Or if there was still time left on the clock it would matter because the Lions would still get another play.

St. Brown committed OPI so by rule there would be a 10 second runoff anyways and the game was over. It's not necessary to say that Goff scored a TD after recovering a fumble by his teammate and running in.

Of course it isn't. Play can't end on a defensive penalty and would be extended a play, offensive penalty..... tough sh*t. 🤣
