because they didn't trade for rentals. Williams and Wilson are signed thru '27.

They also got those 1st round picks. Used one to get Williams and they still have an extra one in 2026. Their pass defense has actually been better than it was with Parsons. So has their run defense. Then they got Pickens to help their passing game.
I'm no Jerry Jones fan but he made some good moves.

Cowboys are out now.
Lions will not win out and will eliminate themselves with one more L.
Lions then out.
Did not want to face either of these teams in the playoffs with Bosa and Warner out.
Plus Lions will be invigorated and desperate to win next week vs the Rams.
The only "plus" side of having to face Detroit in the playoffs is that it's indoors so you get to avoid the elements. Not sure GB in January is the ideal weather (memories of 2021). With that said, Detroit and that running game would have a day against us…

In all seriousness they did just beat both the teams in the last Super Bowl in the Chiefs and Eagles in a span of 4 days. I could see where their confidence came from.

Not mathematically out yet so I wouldn't say that yet. I think they're at like around 8-10% chances.

To me that is essentially out (on the Cowboys).

For Sunday's game vs. the Rams, the Cardinals now have ruled out RBs Trey Benson and Emari Demercado, WRs Marvin Harrison Jr. and Greg Dortch, DL Walter Nolen III and LJ Collier, and DBs Mac Melton and Dadrion Taylor-Demerson.

The #Chiefs list RT Jawaan Taylor (triceps, knee) and G Trey Smith (ankle) as doubtful to play Sunday night vs. the Texans, and they already placed LT Josh Simmons on IR with a wrist injury.

That means 3/5 of Patrick Mahomes' offensive line is set to be out, with a #Texans… pic.twitter.com/GiC3MePkHb
