The one unfortunate thing about being the 49ers is that every week you are someone's Super Bowl, or someone's measuring stick.
You don't get up for other teams every week like you do for the 49ers.

A Rams W / L won't affect the NFCW standings, as the Rams have yet to notch a conference or division win.
That stated, still rooting for the Jags, even with the 49ers loss. Same goes for the MNF game in the PNW,

I've mentioned this before, and totally believe it.
Teams measure themselves against the franchise, be it it scrubs or decent teams ...
