I'd roast his ass. He's going to get the first down and TD anyway whether it's legit or the refs help so you may as well make him pay. He will start to think twice about doing that crap.

I think the potential of Herbert is being stymied because he's being asked to play like Alex smith did in 2011.

maybe it'll be different this year and the offense will grow. They could be a more dangerous passing team if the offensive concepts were drawn up more modern.

I like Herbert coming out of college but he is not a good finishing/clutch QB. I fully expect him to blow this. Maybe Harbaugh can fix him but I doubt it.

I love his smash mouth football control the clock style, but the stalling in the Redzone and kicking field goals have always been a major problem
