Battle of 1976 expansion franchise teams.....had forgotten that Seattle was originally in the NFC West for one year......then in the AFC West until the realignment in '02.

While I think it's good and we will see how the day ends up. One there is a lot of football left to play. Two I do think we are a soft #1. We didn't play the toughest teams yet and we keep winning nail bitter games that could go either way at the end. With special teams and defense. The good news is our special teams and defense are dramatically better. That helps you win close games and we are far better than expected. But I'm not sure we are as good as our rank or if it will hold up.

This may end up being a perfect week for 49ers fans
- eagles lose
- Seahawks currently losing
- teams we want to trade for their pass rushers are getting beat up
- 49ers won a road game against a division rival

perfect week if SEA loses, I'm also a UCLA fan, they upset Penn State, so this is fun

Based on the analytics, we're probably closer to the equivalent of a 2-3 team, maybe 3-2. The injuries might be contributing to that, hard to say.
