We all had a vested interest to hope Trey was going to be NFL good, but that story of the kid who came out of no where from a tiny school seldom works out.
Of course the kicker is, if you are on the draft radar at ANY level.... there is a reason. There is some sort of talent level that puts you a step above most players.
I wanted Jones over Lance back at draft day, but I could not stand Mac Jones on the Pats...like I detest his attitude, I would much rather root on Lance even if he fails.
That is why I am kinda stunned Mac has the entire locker room rooting him on. It goes to show you us outsiders seldom have our fingers on the pulse of what is actually taking place.
We have watched our fair share of late blooming QBs as 49er fans.....that could be Lane too. I really hope it is, I hope the guy gets his share of Glory.
