I'm living in AZ. Little chatter on sports radio. Cardinal fans at work, bummed that he signed with a divisional rival and hope he does well except in games against the Cardinals. But mostly unconcerned. Not someone they were looking to bring back.

Apparently, per Matt Maiocco, the 49ers have not signed DJ Humphries. Reports of his signing were greatly exaggerated.

Interesting. So much time has passed since the initial report. Maybe he didnt like the extra OT signings. I heard he wanted more guaranteed and if its more incentive base, maybe he balked. Or maybe we balked after the physical. Cant give guaranteed money if you dont have guaranteed availability.

What the hell is with this guy? He suddenly thinks he's got the same kind of résumé and clout as a Trent Williams. He should be crawling on his hands and knees to sign whatever this contract is.

Very weird, he and his agent both announced the signing lol. I wonder if there was a snag with the physical or something small contract related.

So now we didn't sign him. Which means we don't have a backup swing Tackle. This is why you draft offensive line. Because unlike the belief of this team you actually need it.
