The only thing I'd say is as you mention he likely wasn't fully healthy after the knee injury and also harder to come in to a team mid season and start cold into the limelight and here he gets to come in, learn the playbook, get time in training camp and ideally never has to actually play unless it's mop up duty in a win.
I would've preferred Jedrick Willis but DJ may be a better choice for swing OT.

100 games as a starting tackle, most of them at left tackle is a huge plus.
If healthy he's comparable to McGlinchey, maybe a tad better as a pass blocker. For a swing tackle, you'll absolutely take that.
