49ers great Michael Carter was a shot putter, his daughter was too. I think she set some NCAA records back in the day. Shot put power works great on the DL :)

MC was a Silver Medalist at the 1984 Olympic.

This sucks. We don't know how he was looking in practice but he showed real potential earlier. I wanted to see if he had a shot at being the future center.
He had strength and quickness to fit in. Hurt him not being able to play guard.

Not here long enough to master the offense to play at center yet. We are trying to stay competitive but so many injuries and weak spots. At some point later in the year, we might need to play more of our young players for experience and to see if they might be keeper's.

I know we are screwed with all the injured players on the roster that people we wanted to keep had to go. I knew he'd get claimed. We needed to get OL help and instead gave it away.
Burford is avg and will leave next year
Brendel sucks.. Should have been cut.
Bartch can be decent but I bet he gets hurt real quick.
We better not trade any of our 1st 3 picks. We need to get that OT, maybe a guard, and now a center.
oh well, he was undrafted with flaws and had a way to go to be able to make it.
