Don't really get the logic of going for 2 there, still over a quarter left and you're not gonna convert two more 2-pt tries even if score a couple unanswered TDs.

Well you can, but chances are against you obviously. You can still convert the next and make up for the miss at least. Keep it to a fg deficit if you can actually get the two TDs, and hold the Rams scoreless.
