How hilarious would it be that Sanders turned down tge Eagles and Ravens to get a starting shot only for Desuan Watson to revitalize his career

Please tell me your point with this

And again, Desuan Watson won't play a down for the Browns this season.
Just the Irony it would be and how ridiculous their whole qb situation. I get the sense they'll run it with Watson again and Sanders/Brown homers are going to be pissed

Let me ask you this: what makes you think that the Browns actually want to play Desuan Watson, and what make you think that he'll play a down this season?

Deshaun Watson is a piece of s**t and shouldn't be in the NFL. With that said they're only opening his practice window it doesn't mean he'll play.

Well I never said I thought that for one that being said the Browns are stuck with Watson wouldn't surprise me if they start him next season as his contract is fully guaranteed. The people who make those decisions might not want what is supposed to be your 50M Franchise QB on the bench while you got the biggest circus show out there since Manziel

Dude was supposed to be our savior, reports of us interested, networks saying we were the favorites, we were all hyped… Instead we trade all that capital for Lance

Watson in his early Texan days was good. Watson in the last few years as a starter in Houston. Getting himself injured as well. Just careless with his play.

As far as those rumors, that was all the media just saying stupid s**t for stories. If Kyle had any geniune interest, he's an even bigger idiot than I thought.
Although this was a loss for the Browns, anyone watching that Browns-Titans game know that Shedeur balled. He went for 23-42, 364 yards, 3 carries for 29 yards, 1 TD run, 3 TD passes, and 1pick, yet still Shedeur three dimes all over the place. They were forced to do what I been calling for - open up the playbook. The Browns defense didn't come to play at all, Judkins went 16 for 26, and they're O-line got bullied. In spite of the pick and a fumble by another player, Shedeur overcame all of that and he engineered a comeback and put them in the position to tie the game (which they shouldn't have had to do if Stefanski didn't go for 2 the previous drive). And what does Stefanski do? Take the ball OUT of Shedeur's hands (when he's cooking) and go wildcat gadget and it looked awful.

Coaching lost the Browns game due to coaching, and it was bad. For all of you who laughed at people like me who feel that Stefanski sabotaged Shedeur get a long look at the playcalls on each of the last 2 scoring drives. After everything that Shedeur had to overcome, leading them to 2 straight TD drives, yet the ball was taken out of his hands by Stefanski at the moment of truth, resulting in a loss for the Browns.

Was it incompetence, or sabotage? At this point it don't matter. Stefanski should be fired before the Browns next game, and Shedeur need to be named the starter for the remainder of the season. And the Browns need to be building round Shedeur in the 2026 draft and not thinking about a QB in the draft.

yeah that was a real good game for Shedeur. aside from one bad pick, showed escapiblity, pocket maneuvering, showed that hes learning by throwing the ball away instead of taking sacks, and overall a good game albeit against a trash opposing D

there is no reason for stefanski to sabotage anyone tho, hes been on the hot seat for a minute so keeping his job is a prerogative for him. hes been running that wildcat all the time and it worked most of the time.

So it's incompetence on the part of Stefanski. He told the hole world that Dillan Gabriel was better than Shedeur by his handling of Shedeur, even called Dillan Gabriel a "super computer". Stefanski said to the world that it would be a "4 QB competition" yet proceeded to give Dillan Gabriel all the reps, relegating Shedeur to support staff and trashcans (literally) to through to in practice even though Shedeur looked better in camp than DG according to beat reporters and fans attending camp. So it was never "competition".

Nobody honest watching this game came away thinking that Stefanski was right playing DG over Shedeur. Can we please be honest, finally, and at least admit that Shedeur's drop had nothing to do with his play on the field, and had nothing to do with DG actually being better than Shedeur.

Where would the Browns be had an honest talent assessment ruled in the whole Shedeur saga? The Browns and the NFL potentially ruined a whole season, and hampered 2 kids career start proving petty fu&king points. And after all that Shedeur still looked the 1st round talent that he is, and thoroughly outplayed the number 1 overall pick, who I've (and Mel Kiper) always said that Shedeur was better than.

As I've said, this whole Shedeur saga is an indictment on the NFL, on so many levels.

I mean, I never bought that whole Gabriel is better than Shedeur stuff, so I dont know why youre asking me that. Shedeur was a first round, maybe early 2nd talent to me. Then I dont put as much value on arm talent than others do.
Cleveland is actually a good spot for Shedeur. If he does become an impact player, he may be able to lift the Browns out of perennial suckage and build a real name for himself that isn't based on hype, or who is father is. I imagine it's the way he carries himself (if he's arrogant) that turns some people off. But if he becomes their franchise QB that is something worthy of legitimate praise.

Big ifs.

Yes, most young players are until they actually prove something.

Those rumors were before he became massage Watson, huge bullet we dodged.

Texans weren't looking to move him until after the allegations came out. Then the Browns double down on stupid and guarantee him his whole contract.

Worst NFL trade ever and it's not close.

Maybe I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure he had enough of Bill O'Brein and the front office demanding a trade before all that came out. Browns did trade for him after
