There's still, understandably, chemistry issues with his wrs. We need to take advantage of that and always be ready to follow the ball for a pick.

I'm sure they will have time to work on improvement this week, but as long as we don't turn the ball over in offense (Brock I'm looking at you)... we should pull away from them eventually.

But they have a hell of a defense.

This game will make Shedeur look like a savior and franchise QB, why? Because the 49ers haven't won there since 1984 the second time the 9ers won the Super Bowl.

I don't see the 49ers losing to even a Shedeur-lead Browns. Their O-line is just too bad, they're very predicable offensively. From what I've seen of Shedeur he's a great pocket passer, but his best work is out of the pocket. I look for Salah to deploy a game plan to keep him in the pocket and not rush pass the QB to collapse the pocket on him. The DE's cannot get too far up field. Shedeur has a major ship on his shoulders (and rightfully so) and is looking prove major points. He'll be looking to make the big plays down field. So I say Salah should play heavy pattern match zone to take big plays away from him and make Shedeur dink and dunk his way down the field. I also see Salah drawing up blitzes, a lot. I was shocked the Raiders didn't heat him up more given what the Ravens did to him. Besides, the Browns WR cops isn't good at all. So keeping Shedeur in a collapsing pocket, confusing a rookie QB with different zone looks, and blitzing him often is the winning formula.

They threw alot of screens this past weekend.

I'm guessing for our game they will do one or two more, before doing the fake screen wheel route for a potential big play that might make a difference in a low scoring game. Their defense looks amped right now, so if they sell out on the run and get us in passing situations...with their pass rush? Sheeeet, we're gonna have to have a disciplined offense and play field position.

I see Shanny spamming the screen button as well. But I don't think we're gonna go away against the run. Look for Shanny to dust off the gap scheme again like he did earlier this year. I don't see zone being to effective against them. Also, if we have even the slightest success running the ball Shanny is gonna play-action them to death.

What truly worries me about this game is that Jim Schwartz kind of has Shanny's number, or he at least has a bead on Shanny's scheme. So Shanny will have to come out of character to keep Jim Schwartz guessing. If we can get up 2 scores (like I think what's gonna happen) and get Shedeur to try to prove his chip-on-his-shoulder points we'll win easily. But I do see a low scoring game. Their defense is just too good for us run away from them.

I wouldn't say that. That would be an unfair comparison about how he played.

If the weather report pans out it's going to be icy rain. That's worse than snow in my opinion. Brock says he doesn't plan on wearing gloves, we will see how Sanders does, but I just think the field shrinks and it's going to be a slopfest.

another reason I stopped watching early morning ESPN. Yelling, political takes on a dam sports show, more senseless yelling, RIDICULOUS takes just to start an argument and ...MORE YELLING.

Careful 49er-from-Yavin-IV, tread lightly. Some here, like pillageDatazz and the Hall of Famer Kolohe (at least I have no problem naming names), may start to question your 49ers fandom for saying that. You and I are able to say that we wanna see Shedeur do well, just not against our beloved 49ers. I suspect for posters like them that particular intellectual parsing may be just too much to handle without purity or loyalty tests, and even then they'll likely find it suspicious. . . .

. . . . But I want that smoke, all of it
